Develop a transition plan aiming to the creation adoption and delivery of S-200 products and services

Compelling need :

IHO has created and shared an S-100 Implementation Decade document, outlining timelines and milestones for a transition from current state to an S-100 operational world. IALA should provide similar documentation on transitioning to S-200 in an operational and practical context

Review S-100 Implementation Strategy and outline comparisons to S-200 transition needs. Document milestones and establish timelines for all users and participants in S-200 operational context. Circulate among other Committees if needed. Consideration should be given to the following elements:

1. Operational infrastructure

2. Technical standardization

3. Coordinated implementation of services

4. Synchronization with other Maritime Organizations

5. Collaboration with industry

6. Capacity Building of AtoN Authorities

7. Development of Dissemination Capabilities
