Develop technical service specifications for UKC by using existing product specifications under the S-100 framework. Develop the service design for the UKC service which will be derived from the technical service specification.

The objective of this task is to give guidance to organizations to be able to implement a service for UKC in their area. |

| Compelling need : | The existing product specification for UKC (S-129) does not have any technical service specifications nor service design that use it Without the correct use of UKC, vessels may enter areas that are too shallow to navigate safely. To develop the Technical Service Specification a coordinated approach with WG1 (operations) to define the use cases is needed first. After the definition of the use cases the other parts of the Technical Service Specification will be completed (e.g. Dynamic Behavior, Data Model, ….) After the completion of the Technical Service Specification the Service Design can be created
