There are planned two additional intersessional meetings from now on until ENG19 committee to work on the input paper “Recognition of Augmentation Systems in the WWRNS†with the intention to present a mature draft in ENG19 for the final comments, endorsement and approval. Then,Action item:That Committee participants interested in supporting the development of “Recognition for Augmentation Systems in the WWRNS†between ENG18 and ENG 19 are invited to contact José Luis Martin (jose-luis.martin@essp-sas.eu).ENG18 2025-04-08 14:44:40 ENGWG2C ENG19The Committee reviewed the input paper ENG19-3.1.2.1, “Draft input to NCSR 12, Recognition of augmentation systems in the World-Wide radionavigation systems” and the information given during the discussions. The draft guideline on “NCSR 12 Recognition of augmentation systems in the World-Wide radionavigation systems” was reviewed and amended during the meeting, and a final version was generated which should become an output of ENG-19. . 2025-05-04 18:23:49 alisa.nechyporuk 2025-09-08 14:41:54 alisa.nechyporuk 2025-10-15 16:00:31 ENGWG2C 2025-10-15 18:15:52 ENGTGL25 ENG21. The committee discussed the proposal from Angela Barr about the work already performed within IMO CG2 in terms of the development of SBAS DFMC & ARAIM Performance Standard. In this case, it is presented the work plan and it is proposed to work also in the frame of IALA ENG WG2 to support this development. Now, Australia is working on a gap analysis by reviewing the reference documentation (IMO GNSS Performance Standards (GPS, Galileo, Beidou...), ICAO SARPS for SBAS DFMC, technical standards (MOPS) from RTCA/EUROCAE...) to identify those elements that should be considered within the IMO SBAS DFMC & ARAIM Performance Std. It is also mentioned that IALA documents could be also part of the documents to be reviewed for the gap analysis. Finally, the Committee agreed the scope of this activity match with the scope of this task. It is proposed to Angela to share the gap analysis with the Task Leader for the TG to contribute. Documentation should be uploaded in the related folder within the fileshare. 2026-04-15 16:37:24 ENGTGL25 Presentation was done by Australia (Terry) reporting the progress of the work performed by the IMO Correspondence Group in relation to the performance standard for a SBAS DFMC & ARAIM shipborne radionavigation receiver requested by IMO. About this work, the CG has been completed a gap analysis with the review of the reference documentation (IMO GNSS Performance Standards (GPS, Galileo, Beidou...), ICAO SARPS for SBAS DFMC, technical standards (MOPS) from RTCA/EUROCAE...) to identify those elements that should be considered within the performance standard. Additionally, the CG identified and described the functional objectives as the basis of the future performance standard. This material has been included in the input paper that will be submitted to IMO NSCR13 (scheduled in June) in regards the performance standard. It is expected the conclusions and outcomes from NCSR13 will be reported in next ENG23 in October. |
